25 Years and Counting celebrates the rich legacy of St. Giles’ Theatre Group, which for a quarter of a century has welcomed every young person aged 10–19 into a fully inclusive performing arts experience. As an outreach of St. Giles’ and St. Columba’s South Church, the group’s commitment to inclusion, creativity, and community has remained constant, with no one turned away at auditions and every member treated as essential to the production.
Over the years, more than a hundred young people annually have built confidence, discovered passions, and formed lifelong friendships through their involvement. Many have pursued careers in the arts, while others have carried the joy of their experience into different paths. Thanks to their dedication—along with tireless volunteers, generous supporters, and loyal audiences—the group has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charity and the church that supports it.
This milestone also honours the vision of founding Director Ruth Rollo and the many creatives who shaped the group’s success. While 25 Years and Counting reflects on the journey so far, it also looks ahead with hope and excitement for the future of this thriving community tradition.
