Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" transported to the Upper West Side of Manhattan in the late 1950s, with a sizzling Bernstein score, provides us with this iconic and extraordinary triumph of musical theatre. For our talented young cast and directing team it has proved to be a memorable and highly challenging project.
